Your e-ticket must be shown when boarding the shuttle bus and will be scanned by the driver or boarding staff.

Photograph your bus number & save its location

Accepted Answer

After arriving at the Red Bull Ring, be sure to photograph your bus and the bus number (sign at the front of the vehicle). Also save your bus location on your smartphone (e.g. via Google Maps or Apple Maps).
Since your return journey is on the same bus and boarding generally takes place at the same location where you were dropped off, this makes it much easier to find your bus again after the event ends.

Arrive on time for your return journey

Out of consideration for other passengers, drivers cannot wait for late travellers. Please arrive at your bus in good time.
If you miss your return journey, there is no entitlement to alternative transport or a refund of the ticket price.

Major motorsport events are among the largest sporting events in Austria. Around the Red Bull Ring, increased traffic, congestion, road closures and delays are to be expected.
Please allow sufficient time and factor possible waiting times into your travel planning.

What is the Customer Portal?

The Customer Portal is your personal area for everything related to your booking.
There you will find:
your e-tickets
current departure times
bus number and boarding location information
important travel updates
live updates when changes occur
your invoice and booking documents

How do I access the Customer Portal?

After a successful booking, you will automatically receive an email with your personal Magic Link.
This link allows you to access your Customer Portal securely at any time – no password required.

Will I be notified of changes?

Yes. For important changes to your journey, we will also notify you by email.
Regardless, we recommend checking your personal Customer Portal regularly, as it always contains the most up-to-date information about your booking.

May I share my Magic Link?

Your Magic Link is personalised and provides access to your booking data, e-tickets, invoices and other travel-related information.
Please do not share the link with unauthorised third parties and keep it confidential.

How do I receive my ticket?

Do I need to print my ticket?

No. Your e-ticket can be shown directly on your smartphone.

Do I need to show my ticket when boarding?

Yes. Your valid e-ticket must be shown when boarding the shuttle bus.
The ticket is scanned at boarding. Please have your ticket ready when you board.

Where can I find my invoice?

After a successful booking, your invoice is available for download directly in your personal Customer Portal.

I am travelling with a larger group. Are group offers available?

Yes. We are happy to create individual offers for larger groups.

Question 16

Can we sit together?

Accepted Answer

We do not assign fixed seats. Each passenger is allocated to a specific shuttle bus with free choice of seats.
If you want to guarantee travelling on the same bus as friends or family members, we recommend booking all tickets together in a single booking.

We booked separately. Can we still travel together?

Accepted Answer

If several bookings belong together, please contact us by email as early as possible and provide the relevant booking references.
We will try to allocate travellers to the same bus. However, this cannot be guaranteed and there is no legal entitlement.

Is there a child discount?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Children up to 15 years of age (the child must not yet have turned 15 on the event day) receive a 50 % discount on the regular bus fare.
Please note that the child discount must be applied at the time of booking. Retroactive discounts or refunds cannot be granted.

Is there a discount for multi-day bookings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When booking several event days in a single booking, discounted prices or volume discounts may be offered.
The discount can only be applied during the original booking process. Subsequent price adjustments or refunds are not possible.

Can I cancel my booking?

Accepted Answer

No. Cancellations are generally not possible. There is no entitlement to a refund of the fare.

Can I rebook my booking?

Accepted Answer

Rebookings are possible for a processing fee of € 20.00 per order.
Please note that rebookings depend on available capacity and cannot be guaranteed. There is no legal entitlement to a rebooking.

Can I transfer my ticket to another person?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Shuttle tickets can be transferred to another person.
Please make sure to forward both the e-ticket and the associated Magic Link to the new traveller. Only then can they access current information, changes and travel documents.

Can the stored customer data be changed?

Yes. On request, we can update the stored customer data.
Please contact our support by email and provide your booking reference and the new customer details.

Can I book only the outbound or only the return journey?

Accepted Answer

No. Our shuttle tickets are generally offered only as round trips.

Are one-way tickets offered?

Accepted Answer

As a rule, we do not offer one-way tickets.
However, we reserve the right to release individual remaining seats as one-way tickets a few days before the event. Whether and to what extent such seats are made available depends on the occupancy of the respective shuttle connections.
There is no entitlement to the availability of one-way tickets.

Can I board at a different stop along the route?

No. Boarding is generally only possible at the booked boarding location.

How early should I be at the boarding location?

Please be at your booked boarding location at least 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Out of consideration for other passengers, our buses cannot wait for late travellers.

Is the event admission ticket included in the shuttle price?

No. The event ticket is not included in the shuttle price and must be purchased separately.

Where is the bus parking area at the Red Bull Ring?

The bus parking areas are located directly at or in very close proximity to the Red Bull Ring.
The specific allocation is made on site by police and security staff.

How far is the walk from the bus parking area to the venue?

Depending on the assigned bus parking area, the walking distance may vary. Please allow sufficient time.

Why do shuttle buses sometimes depart very early?

Our departure times are planned so that buses arrive at the venue before the largest crowds of visitors.

Which bus do I use for the return journey?

Your return journey is generally on the same bus that brought you to the Red Bull Ring.
Please be sure to note your bus number and the location of your bus after arrival.

What should I definitely do after arriving at the Red Bull Ring?

We strongly recommend:

Can I leave personal belongings on the bus?

Yes. Personal belongings may remain on the bus during the event at your own risk.
However, please note that access to the bus during the event cannot be guaranteed. Plan accordingly and take everything with you that you need during your visit.

Where do I board for the return journey?

Accepted Answer

Boarding for the return journey generally takes place at the same location where your bus dropped you off after arrival.
For this reason, we strongly recommend saving or photographing your bus location immediately after arrival.

I did not use the outbound journey. How do I find my bus for the return journey?

If you did not use the outbound journey and therefore do not know where your bus is located, please contact the on-site Bus Info Point in good time.
Our staff will help you locate your assigned bus.

When should I ask for my bus location?

Accepted Answer

We strongly recommend asking for your bus location at the Bus Info Point before the event begins or during the event.
After the event ends, the bus parking areas and Bus Info Point are typically very busy. If you already know your bus location, you can head straight there after the event and avoid unnecessary delays.

When do shuttle buses depart from the Red Bull Ring?

Return departure times are based on the official event programme.
If the end of the event or the event programme is rescheduled, return departure times may be adjusted accordingly.
You will find the latest information in the Customer Portal.

What happens if I cannot find my bus in time?

Accepted Answer

Please allow sufficient time for the walk back to the bus parking area.
Drivers are not obliged to wait for late passengers. If the bus departs at the scheduled time and you have not yet reached the vehicle, there is no entitlement to alternative transport or a refund of the ticket price.

Departure, arrival and journey times should therefore be understood as indicative and cannot be guaranteed.
Delays do not entitle you to a refund of the ticket price.

I use the on-site handicap shuttle. Is there anything I should know?

Yes.
Please note that handicap shuttles, especially after the event ends, may operate with restrictions or delays due to high visitor numbers.
We therefore recommend allowing sufficient time for the return journey to the bus parking area and setting off for your shuttle bus early.
Even if the handicap shuttle is delayed, there is no entitlement to a later departure, alternative transport or a refund of the ticket price.

On event days, we are available for urgent emergencies outside our regular business hours.
The emergency number will be published in the Customer Portal in good time before the event and may also be communicated by email.
